Tiny Turtles, Big Hopes
Releasing baby sea turtles into the Pacific Ocean was one of our most memorable experiences in El Salvador! We made an early-morning trip to Barra de Santiago to join AMBAS, a local women-run organization protecting sea turtle eggs and hatchlings from poaching. Watching these tiny turtles make their way toward the ocean was both heartwarming and a powerful reminder of the importance of conservation. We left feeling grateful to have supported AMBAS’s work and hopeful that these little survivors will return to these shores to nest 40 years from now. 🐢
