where are we?
our story
2026 and Beyond | โSame same, but different.โ The next volume in the epic saga of two retirees experiencing an unconventional nomadic travel lifestyle. We have some familiarity from 2012, but itโs been 14 years and - as coddiwomplers - our adventures will be open ended without a set destination or timeline!
2011-2012 | Round-the-world ticket, 8 months, 20 countries, a backpack....Travel has always been our hobby, but recently, seeing close friendsโ and familyโs lives end too soon has been clarifying. Instead of waiting to find out what โmight have beenโ, we decided to make our round-the-world trip a reality. Although we think we will miss our secure and comfortable lives, we are looking forward to downsizing our over-scheduled lives into a backpack and make way for opportunities not yet discovered.
